Diet is crucial to the health journey: it decides how you want to pursue it. it might be different for fat-loss, strength training or athletic training. Here, I am not concerned about the path you’re taking, in general, what to do with the diet for a long period for optimal health and longevity. Three Fundamentals: Eat Good, Eat Slow and Eat Less. Eat Good: While choosing your food, it’s crucial to understand that what you eat must be good enough for your body and savoury glands. Some superfoods taste good. some food becomes boring. remember to eat wholesome food with a wide range of macronutrients, vitamins and minerals. Eating good is clearly to avoid the complete no-nos: oily, junk and food with saturated fats. Food that you can consume for years and never feel bored. Keeping them in moderation and staying curious about what nutrients you receive from the food you eat. “Good” is a wide term but understand what you like and what’s healthy. it would be best if you had a good proportion of both. Eat Slow: Eating slowly is scientifically proven to be a better way of eating eating at a fast pace. it helps you chew better, and digest your food much better. It will eventually help in the absorption of nutrients. Chewing helps you enjoy your meal. Eating slowly is proven to be a better way to control obesity and calorie intake. Eat Less: Eat less but eat enough. Overeating is the reason for lots of problems: obesity, heart and, cardiovascular diseases. In the modern age, everything including food is accessible to us so easily. More family functions, office gatherings, dates, lunches, dinners, online apps, invites, get-togethers, and we tend to consume lots and lots of food. It’s better to draw the line. Consume 80% if 100% is your actual full-tummy capacity. You eventually need enough calories and micronutrients to perform your vitality functions, but keeping it to more than enough and less than full is what you need of the hour. Syaahkaar is free today.
