Once again, our creative director Toby Morris has taken it upon himself to assemble and review a collection of the best, worst and most puzzling election hoardings that have gone up around the country over the last few weeks. “This year, overall, everything feels very templated – minor variations on a pretty set formula,” Toby says. “I made a bingo sheet thinking it’d be a fun game, but it’s actually too easy.” Some highlights from 2022’s corflute cohort include “the worst election slogan I’ve ever seen”, a hoarding that’s “gotten tangled up in its own cleverness, tripped over and landed on its face” and “a grim mess from Rotorua”.
